How significant is Switzerland's international environment?

As a person who has not been exposed to many different cultures before, I found it refreshing seeing how diverse the cultures are in Switzerland and continue to learn more and more about Swiss culture every day. Having to live in a country that speaks a different language is very helpful in terms of improving my language skills. The school offers a huge range of themed events almost weekly, making student life within the university more fun. Many of these events are cultural and give students a chance to learn more about each others' cultures.
