Hotel Institute Montreux and Swiss Hotel Management School at Freddie for a Day

Montreux’s unique version of Freddie For A Day was launched in 2014 with a special focus on prevention. Over 200 students from Hotel Institute Montreux and SHMS collaborate on the design, logistics and promotion of the event. It’s an opportunity for them to put their learnings from the classroom into practice – and all for a good cause. The event is now an integral part of their studies.

Students raising awareness about HIV & AIDS

The weekend event raised nearly 25,000CHF which will be added to the 15,000CHF our students already raised during the school year. All funds will be donated to the Mercury Phoenix Trust to be allocated to charity projects focused on fighting HIV/AIDS around the world.

We wish to thank those who contributed to the great success of this festival including the Municipality of Montreux, Mercury Phoenix Trust Foundation, local partners and our generous sponsors. Nothing would have been possible without their support and commitment.
