Choosing the right school can be difficult. Our Open Days help you discover which school and program are the best fit for you.
Choosing the right school and study program is a big decision. Where you decide to study will impact your student experience and influence your future career. That’s why it’s important to get a good sense of what the school is like and if it’s the right fit for you before you decide to come study with us.
Swiss Education Group facilitates Open Days – both on campus and online – to give potential students a taste of what to expect from the different schools and programs. It’s a glimpse inside daily life and a chance for students and parents to ask important questions. For many students, this experience is what solidifies their decision. Eva, a current student at Swiss Hotel Management School, shares:
After attending the Open Day, I told my mom that I did not want to visit any more universities. I had made my choice because of the clear presentation of the program, the facilities, and the student body, too. I had a chance to talk with the academic dean and some of the staff during my visit and had a personal tour. This formed an unforgettable experience and contributed to my decision.
Here are 5 things you can expect when you attend one of our Open Days:
Swiss Education Group schools host some of Europe’s most stunning campuses. You’ll be blown away when you visit the historic Caux Palace to learn about Swiss Hotel Management School, or walk along the picturesque shores of Lake Geneva during your stay at Hotel Institute Montreux.
All our campuses offer state-of-the-art facilities, including on-campus restaurants, libraries and learning centers, recreational facilities, and comfortable student accommodations.
During your visit, you’ll attend different presentations where faculty share about the school and the academic programs. Afterwards, you’ll get a chance to ask all your burning questions and the opportunity to seek counsel from advisors to help you determine your next steps. During lunch with current students, you’ll discover what it’s like to live on campus and learn more about all the school has to offer.
Ann from Sweden had this to say about her visit:
I was really curious to learn about the programs and what I would be learning for the next three years. During the Open Day, I gained a very good idea of the content, but my expectations were surpassed when I got to meet the teachers whose energy inspired me.
We want to make sure you spend your visit exploring the schools and programs that interest you most. You’ll get the chance to sit in on demo classes taught by our lecturers to get a taste of the learning experience and have lunch with current students at one of the on-campus restaurants.
Here’s what current student, Roxane, from France had to say about her Open Day:
Visiting the schools allowed me to see what life could be like [at Swiss Hotel Management School] and if it was the right place for me….What impressed me was how welcoming everyone was. I remember eating at Caux Palace and the students and teacher were so warm that I already felt [the school] could be a second home for me.
We understand that attending an on-campus Open Day is not practical for every potential student. While attending an Open Day in person is advised, we also offer Virtual Open Days for potential students who wish to learn more about Swiss Education Group schools, but are unable to travel.
Whether you come visit us in person or connect with us online, we look forward to welcoming you to our schools!
