The Swiss Education Group has paired with leading companies to deliver exclusive programmes to its students. These partnerships are designed for students to stay connected with the latest trends and ensure access to first-hand professional experiences in the hotel and hospitality industry.
“A true design work must move people, convey emotions, bring back memories, surprise, and go against …” Alberto Alessi
ALESSI and the Swiss Education Group including IHTTI – School of Hotel Management and Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland have entered into a partnership to work together to strengthen the student-learning experience by exposing students to international industry insights and expertise. This collaboration will be based on knowledge exchange by welcoming industry experts to deliver lectures and demonstrations, through the organization of student site visits to the ALESSI factory in Northern Italy, and by introducing case studies in the context of ALESSI projects. To kick start the partnership, IHTTI and Culinary Arts Academy will welcome two ALESSI representatives next month.
Mr. Matteo Alessi Anghini, Executive Vice President of International Sales & Development will be visiting IHTTI on December 1st, 2014 to host a Masterclass on Advanced Consumer Behaviour. Focusing on luxury products, Mr. Alessi will offer an analysis of consumer behaviour in hospitality, design and luxury to help graduates gain a rounded appreciation of the critical issues governing consumption and the decision making process. “Creating a unique customer experience through design and luxury branding has become an integral part of the Hospitality Industry. We are therefore privileged and excited as this partnership will contribute immensely to the learning experience of our students.” Mr Jaco Von Wielligh, Academic Director at IHTTI
Mr. Alberto Gozzi is a consultant in the gastronomy and hospitality fields working with and sharing his high competences with ALESSI for many years. With the professional ALESSI cooking materials that he developed, he will be at the Culinary Arts Academy on December 12th, 2014 to give a culinary table-side demonstration for the Year 3 Food Development Project students. “This partnership is a real honour for our school and a great opportunity for our students to learn valuable traditional skills.” Ms Tanja Florenthal, Academic Dean at César Ritz Colleges Switzerland and Culinary Arts Academy
