Hotel Institute Montreux Celebrates: 201 Graduating Hotel Professionals!

A fitting finale to their years of study at Hotel Institute Montreux, the ceremony was attended by family and friends from around the world along with staff from Hotel Institute Montreux and VIP guests from the local community.

Graduates from 45 nationalities were awarded qualifications, which ranged from Swiss Higher Diploma to Bachelor level. Finalising their studies, in Montreux, graduates will take the skills they learned and become tomorrow’s leaders in the international hospitality industry.

Addressing the graduating students, Mr Bernard Fierens, Director at Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild Lausanne, encouraged them to continue to learn and inspire others throughout their careers. Mamiko Reeves, Dean of International Programs at Hotel Institute Montreux’s academic partner, Northwood University USA, highlighted the students achievements congratulating them on their academic success.

Graduation in Numbers:

• 90 students awarded a Swiss Higher Diploma in Hotel Management specializing in Marketing, Human Resources or Finance - 14 with Honours
• 51 students awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Hospitality Business Management - 8 with Honours
• 60 students awarded a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality Management - 10 with Honours
